X-Mas Party

Mark waiting for the Band

In December 1983 I went to a Christmas Party and 'Disco' at the I.C.I. Social Club, Gloucester.

I use the word 'Disco' loosely as it was actually a performance by a live band called SECOND IMAGE.

This band performed self-penned reggea tracks and I thought they sounded a lot like UB40 who were currently in the charts with "Red Red Wine".

After the performance I spoke to members of the band and got a tape of demos from them, but unfortunately the tape has since been ruined.
